I am a 27 y.o. married woman who suffers from polycystic ovarian syndrome and due to this have difficulty in conceiving. I have been under hospital treatment for 5 years and have been told I have to lose weight before I get any treatment. The pressure to lose weight is immense and becuse of this I find it extremely difficult. I enjoy the odd take away and bag of crisps but do not sit munching 24/7 which is something medics dont seem to understand. They keep telling me I have plenty of time to have a baby but my husband is now 40 and does not want to be an older dad.
I have been banging my head against a brick wall for years and have actually contemplated drastic measures to lose the weight.
Anyone in the same boat?
