The Risks Of A Painful Ovarian Cyst

The majority of the ovarian cysts are just functional or benign. Nonetheless, the cysts of the hemorrhagic type can be ovarian cysts that are extremely painful. Ovarian cysts undiagnosed, previous bleeding probs….?

i have mentioned before that i have been having problems since i cant remember when, bleeding for a year non stop is not very pleasant, recently though it seems to have gone to bleeding for ten days off for ten days…. better than continuous, which is good, but yesterday i went for an ultrasound, baring in mind i had one last july-and nothing was picked up,but straight away-yesterday, the nurse mentioned that i have a cyst as big as a tomato, and also lots of little ones also, i am not a doc and dont know too much about PCOS, but what i do know is that usualy you are overweight, facial hair, irregular bleeding etc, when i asked my gp a while back if it could be this, his answer was 'highly unlikely!!'…… the consultant will be in contact with me but does anyone have any ideas??? as with my history, i'm not sure if it would be PCOS anyhow…..???? answers much appreciated!! xx
