Have a great day!
I have Pcos,which diet better?
I have pcos, have been to the gynaecologist, who say i am not in need of any tretament, unless i have probs trying to conceive in future,i am taking the pill and metformin to aid symptoms of it,and have a facial lotion to use twice a day to help with acne, which is at mo i can say under control,i've only managed to lose half a stone, and things are going very slow, also because i feel i am not really trying with one thing more than another.
The dietician i saw a few months back told me to watch by count sugar and fat intake in a 100gms,but i was concerned that although she told me to reduce my starchy carb intake that under the levels she's told me to follow, that i could still stuff aload of other stuff day to day,or to fill up and replace things i've had to cut out.
The gynaecologist told me there was no specific diet to follow, but then said as your body is resistant to things, and insulin carbs and insulin don't go well together,so i was to reduce these, but then also not over do my calorie intake no matter what method of eating i try!!
So should i just reduce my calorie intake,as this is what my cousin did although she is not known to have same probs, and ate less and went gym and has lost stones, looks great,or shall i just reduce my carb intake?!
I'm sort of doing a bit of both genrally i think and although its keeping weight down,i juts feel like i will never get to where i want.
Any advice please,thankyou.
