(PCOS) Polycystic Ovary Syndrome?

well, i was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago, im really overweight and had a miscarriage and have not been able to concieve since as not had many periods and havnt ovulated. When i was sent to see the specialist she said because my weight was to high they wouldnt help me concieve again and i would need to loose around 4 stone before they would concider helping… i said great fine, will you help me……. (normal question i think) and she just said, your really in a big circle here, to loose the weight you need to lower your blood sugar , but to lower your blood sugar you need to loose weight, i said hmmmmmm that doesnt help and she said i know im sorry but really this is really hard to get out of this circle…
we are now looking into adoption, not just because i havnt concieved yet but because we think we can really help a child, and it seems there are restrictions on weight there also, i just feel helpless! is anyone else in the same situation or managed to get out of it? i just need some advice!!!!!! thank you :o ( x
