PCOS Blood Tests, Should I be on my period when they are done?
Hi All,
My Doctor thinks I might have PCOS so is sending me for an ultrasound and to get some blood tests done, he says that the Blood tests should be taken at the same time I am on my period, is this really the case? I am not so sure as my friend who was recently diagnosed with PCOS was not told the same and she got her blood taken when she was not on her period.
My cycle is all over the place as it is so I can't book ahead for an appointment to get my blood taken and it is a nightmare getting an appointment with the nurse as they are so busy. (i'm in the UK) so if it didnt have to be while I am on my period it would make things a lot easier.
